Water emergency triage

Water Emergency? Start Here

Find your situation below, take the two safety steps that matter, then call us. A live dispatcher answers 24/7 and sends the nearest crew, with a 60-minute arrival target in core areas.

Call 911 first if: water is touching your electrical panel, outlets or appliances and sparking or buzzing; a ceiling is sagging or bulging overhead; anyone has been shocked or injured; or you smell gas. Property can be replaced. People cannot. Once everyone is safe, call us and we will handle the water.

Your first 30 minutes

Do these five things now

  • Stop the water. Shut off the main water valve, usually near the street meter or where the line enters the house. For an appliance leak, close the small valve behind the appliance.
  • Cut power to the wet area. Use your breaker panel only if it is dry and safe to reach. Never step into standing water to reach a panel.
  • Move what you can. Lift furniture onto blocks or foil, move electronics, documents and valuables out of the water, and pull back rugs.
  • Photograph everything. Wide shots and close-ups of the source and the damage. These photos are gold for your insurance claim.
  • Call us. Tell the dispatcher where the water is coming from and which rooms are wet. Send your photos by text for a faster assessment.

Skip the mop marathon. Household fans and a shop vac cannot dry inside walls and under floors, and in Florida humidity, mold can begin growing within 24 to 48 hours. The hours you spend now are the cheapest hours of the whole job.

Pick your water situation

Each situation below goes to the service built for it. Not sure which fits? Call us and describe it. Triage is free.

Active leak or flooding right now

Water is flowing, pooling or rising: a running leak, an overflowing fixture or standing water spreading across floors. Shut off the main valve, then get extraction started immediately.

Emergency water extraction

Burst pipe

A pipe has split or a supply line has blown, often behind a wall, under a sink or at the water heater. You may hear hissing or see water pressure drop. Speed decides how much of the house gets wet.

Burst pipe cleanup

Ceiling leaking or dripping

A stain spreading, paint bubbling, or water dripping from a ceiling or light fixture. Put a bucket under it, keep clear of any sagging area, and do not touch a wet light fixture or switch.

Roof leak cleanup

Flooded room or flooded home

Storm water, street flooding or a major appliance failure has put inches of water indoors. Treat outdoor flood water as contaminated, keep people and pets out of it, and let us extract and sanitize.

Flood cleanup

AC overflow or water at the air handler

A puddle around the indoor AC unit, a wet closet ceiling, or water stains near vents usually mean a clogged condensate line. Turn the AC off at the thermostat to stop more condensate, then call.

AC leak cleanup

Storm or hurricane water damage

Wind-driven rain through the roof or windows, surge or street flooding during a storm. Once the weather clears and it is safe, fast extraction is what saves floors, walls and contents.

Emergency questions

Quick answers under pressure

We target a 60-minute arrival for active water emergencies in our core Florida areas, and we serve 293 cities statewide. If you are farther out, the dispatcher gives you a realistic ETA before you commit, and we will tell you what to do in the meantime.

No. Water keeps moving all night, wicking up drywall and spreading under flooring, and Florida humidity lets mold start within 24 to 48 hours. A call at 2 a.m. almost always means a smaller, cheaper job than a call at 9 a.m.

The inspection is free. You receive a written scope with a price range before any billable work begins, so the decision is always yours. Typical emergency extraction runs $1,500 to $4,500 depending on the volume of water and rooms affected.

For a small, clean spill on tile that you catch immediately, careful DIY drying can work, and we will tell you so honestly. For water that reached drywall, carpet, cabinets or flooring, household fans cannot dry inside the structure, and hidden moisture is what causes the expensive second problem.

Water is moving. Your next move matters

Shut off the source, stay safe, and call. We will take it from there, any hour, anywhere in our Florida coverage area.
